Background
Neal Weingart was raised in Dallas, Texas and received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Mr. Weingart then went on to The University of Oregon School of Law, where he earned his law degree. Shortly after law school, he worked for the American Civil Liberties Union and Multnomah Defenders Incorporated, one of Portland, Oregon’s most well-known firms for indigent defense. At the firm, Mr. Weingart handled a wide variety of misdemeanors and felonies.

Extensive Experience
During the course of his career, Mr. Weingart has tackled over 100 trials, which allowed him the opportunity to polish his litigation skills. He has represented criminal defendants in trial and served as counsel for personal injury victims in accidents ranging from car accidents to workplace accidents. Mr. Weingart is a veteran litigator with extensive experience preparing and litigating cases in front of a judge and jury.

Active In the Community
Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Weingart’s well-rounded Attorney Profile also demonstrates that he is highly active in the legal community. He and members of the Legal Committee for the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association were instrumental in lobbying the legislature for changes in criminal law. Always, dedicated to remaining on the cutting-edge of trial advocacy, Mr. Weingart, Attorney at Law, is also an active member of the National Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.
